1981 - 1988 Cutlass Vinyl Top Moulding
Retainer Clips - Top Moulding

These retainers fit the moulding on the top
of the car on Cutlass Coupes equipped with 
the Vinyl Landau Roof. They are extremely 
rare and hard to find. They have been 
discontinued by GM for several years.

I have looked for these retainers for years with no luck. 
Recently they showed up in small quantities at several GM 
dealerships. I bought all I could find and was be able to put 
together several sets. Please note the picture of the moulding 
is included for reference. The moulding is not included in 
the auction.

Most of these retainers do not survive removal for painting
or vinyl top replacement. I believe 6 clips are needed, but
it has been a long time since I removed any moulding.

The Buy It Now is for 12 NOS retainers that have never been 
installed.

 Please compare the retainers on your car to the ones in the 
picture before bidding. These clips will fit all the Cutlass's I 
have owned, but GM sometimes made minor changes.

I am am old retired guy with time on my hands. I
make a hobby of locating obsolete and discontinued 
retainers for Cutlass's and selling them on eBay.

2015 Corvette gets luxury Atlantic and track-focused Pacific options

Chevrolet will offer two special packages on the 2015 Corvette Stingray when it hits dealerships later this year. The Atlantic convertible features a luxury/GT-focused option, while the Pacific will be a track-focused coupe. “One of the design goals for the Corvette Stingray was to provide customers with the flexibility to tailor the car to their personality,” said Kirk Bennion, Corvette exterior design manager.

Ford opens online reservations for the 2012 Focus electric

People can now place their online orders for the 2012 Ford Focus electric, Ford's first all-electric passenger car. The electric Focus carries a base sticker price of $39,995 including shipping charges, but that price does not reflect any tax credits available. The electric Focus comes standard with MyFord Touch with an eight-inch touch screen, two 4.2-inch color LCD displays in the gauge cluster for EV monitoring screens, and the MyFord Mobile App for remotely monitoring the charge status of the lithium-ion battery.

Ford to crank up EcoBoost engine production

Ford Motor Co. plans to offer EcoBoost engines in 11 vehicles in 2012, up from seven in 2011, and triple the production capacity of EcoBoost-equipped vehicles. Ford is betting big on its family of turbocharged EcoBoost engines to drive fuel economy gains without sacrificing performance.
