UP FOR AUCTION IS AN EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND NOS PAIR (RH&LH) OF 81-87 CHEVROLET TRUCK CAB CORNER TRIM MOULDINGS IN THIER ORIGINAL GM BOXES. BOTH BOXES WERE JUST OPENED TO TAKE THESE PICTURES. THERE IS SOME GLARE OR REFLECTIONS IN SOME OF THE PICTURES ITS HARD TO GET A GOOD SHOT OF THEM. BOTH ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION AND ALSO INCLUDED IN THE BOXES IS THE CLIP TO HOLD THEM ON AND THE G/M PAPER TAGS FROM WHERE THEY WERE BOUGHT. BMW reveals Zagato Roadster at Pebble Beach
Fri, 17 Aug 2012Earlier this week, we snuck a peak at the BMW Zagato roadster in dark photos sent from BMW. After its reveal on the lawn at Pebble Beach on Friday, we’ve found out a bit more about the one-off drop top. It only took six weeks to go from drawing to finished concept, according to BMW.

VW’s first small flatbed since the Mk1 Golf-based Caddy will take on trucks like the Toyota Hilux and Mitusbishi L200 when it goes on sale late in 2009. It is, but not for long. This thinly veiled concept, called simply Pickup Concept, has been designed as a search and rescue vehicle for coastguards but essentially this is what badge-conscious UK builders will be driving in 2009. The new Volkswagen corporate face with its monobrow top grille and wide mouth is likely to be carried over mostly unchanged to the cars that will roll off the South African production line, as will the surprisingly stylish interior which features hooded instruments and Audi TT-style air vents. Mechanical details are sketchy but Volkswagen claims that engines will be common-rail diesels which rules out the old-tech 2.5 five pot that powers many of VW’s current commercials.

Now we get the first undisguised photos. The Macan photos (above) are from Auto Motor und Sport magazine and leaked out online with almost three weeks to go until the Macan gets its official reveal in Los Angeles.
