New Standard Hygrade carburetor rebuild kit. Kit is for Rochester Quadrajet carburetor E4ME (4 bbl, electric choke). Carburetor rebuild kit includes small soft parts, seals and gaskets necessary to rebuild a factory carburetor. Includes complete gasket set, needle and seat. Carburetor kit does not include hard parts, such as jets, metering rods, bushings, choke, linkages, float, diaphragms, etc, all of those components mush be reused. It is extremely important that check your existing carburetor # on the side of your carburetor and match it up to the compatible carburetors listed below, your carburetor may have been changed at one time!
81 Trans Am w/ 301 Pontiac engine (NON-TURBO ONLY) with the following carburetor #'s : Rochester Quadrajet 4bbl (E4ME) #17067328, 17067338, 17081270, 17081272 NOTE : This kit WILL NOT work with any other carburetor # other than listed above! For those of you whom have never rebuilt a carburetor, it is not as difficult as it seems, HOWEVER, it is suggested that you take numerous photos of your carburetor BEFORE disassembling, especially linkage rod orientation, screw location, adjustment screw positions, etc. Float and choke adjustment are required, a chart is included for the adjustment specifications. A carburetor can be rebuilt with a few screwdrivers, some carb cleaner (not included), some patience, and some time. If you run into a problem during repair, please contact us. |

Infiniti releases Q50 teaser video
Thu, 03 Jan 2013Infiniti has released a short clip teasing its new Q50 sedan ahead of its reveal in Detroit this month. From the video we can see the Q50's new headlight design that integrates a curving LED ‘eyebrow', while we can see more LEDs around the main lamps, bringing the lamp graphics found on the brand's recent concept cars to production. The Q50 will be the first model to launch under the carmaker's new naming policy, where each model will see either a Q (sedans) or a QX (crossovers and SUVs) attached to its name.

So you will still have a car that can deliver 0-62mph in 3.4 seconds from its 678bhp V12 Mercedes-sourced engine, and on up to almost 220mph. Just like the Coupe Cinque, only five Cinque Roadsters will be built (Cinque – Five – gettit?!) and each will set back their lucky owner €1.1 million + tax.
Mitsubishi to build new family of vehicles in U.S.
Mon, 17 Jan 2011Mitsubishi will assemble a new family of vehicles at its Illinois plant within two years, a source familiar with the company's plans said. The vehicles will be based on the platform underpinning the Outlander and Outlander Sport crossovers and Lancer sedan, the source said. Those models are assembled in Japan.
