THIS IS A ONE OF A KIND ITEM. It is highly unlikely you will see any Item like this one againYou are bidding on a used OEM INSTRUMENT CLUSTER UNIT removed from a 1985 Bertone X1/9 Sports Coupe. Visually and Mechanically, this Item is in NEAR MINT condition. The plastic BEZEL and LENS have no chips or cracks and especially all Mounting Holes on the Face Lens are fully intact with no hairline or spider vein cracks. The Lens is Crystal Clear with absolutely no dulling. No repairs have been made on this Item. The most you can quibble about are a couple of scuff marks on the Lens not even  visible in any of the Hi Res Pics. This Unit comes with a:

1. Working Tachometer

2. Working Speedometer. Working Odometer. Both can easily be tested since they are cable driven. The Odometer only reads 21000 miles - are you kidding me absolutely amazing.

3. The Fuel Gauge the Water Temperature Gauge and Voltmeter were Bench Tested and all register properly when voltage applied.

4. I did not test all twelve Bulbs but the half dozen or so I did check out all work.

5. Finally you get a COMPLETE Set of Pig-tailed Input Connectors.

Please examine the Hi Res Pics which show this Item in considerable detail from several different directions and make sure it is suitable for your needs. What you see is EXACTLY what you get. While removed from an 1985 Model, this Assembly can be installed in all X1/9s built by Bertone from 1982 through 1989. I am not sure if it can be used in earlier X1/9s built by Fiat. For that info you will need to do your own due diligence and make sure that this Item meets your needs. Take note that the Speedo registers up to 140 MPH and the Tach has a 7000 RPM Red Line. This Item is Guaranteed to work to your satisfaction.

DEAR BUYER. I ALWAYS GUARANTEE THAT YOU MUST BE SATISFIED WITH YOUR PURCHASE OR ELSE THE ITEM CAN BE RETURNED AND YOU WILL BE REFUNDED  WHAT YOU PAID FOR IT INCLUDING ALL ORIGINATING SHIPPING CHARGES. THE ITEM MUST BE RETURNED AT YOUR EXPENSE.  PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT YOU ARE BUYING A USED AUTOMOBILE PART AND ISSUES MAY ARISE. OFTEN TIMES, COMPATIBILITY ISSUES DEVELOP WHEN THE SAME PART IS INSTALLED  IN TWO SUPPOSEDLY IDENTICAL CARS. THAT IS ESPECIALLY TRUE OF INSTRUMENT CLUSTERS,  THROTTLE BODIES,  COMPUTERS  OF ALL TYPES AND IGNITION AND BRAKE MODULES.

IN THE EVENT YOU WISH TO RETURN THE ITEM PLEASE CONTACT ME FIRST THROUGH EBAY MESSAGES.  I PROMISE I WILL SOLVE YOUR PROBLEM AND YOU WILL BE SATISFIED.

Nissan Note Boat makes a splash (video)

Fri, 25 Oct 2013

Nissan Note Boat makes splash Before you get carried away the the thought that Nissan has somehow turned out a new Note that can turn itself in to a boat, they haven’t. Instead, Nissan’s PR has decided to bolt the new Note to a floating platform to demonstrate the versatility and some of the technology of the new Note. Nissan went of to Eton Dornay Lake – scene of some of our remarkable rowing feats in the 2012 Olympics – with a modified Note with a sliding single stroke seat for a rower to allow the Note – with its wide opening doors – to accommodate an oar poking out of each side.
