Here is a used Borg Warner 5 speed 3rd gen Camaro / Firebird transmission. Part number 1352-072. Which is a V8 305 5.0 car, transmission originally out of a 1985 model year. It has mechanical speedo. The gear ratio is Rev 2.76, 1st 2.95, 2nd 1.94, 3rd 1.34, 4th 1.00 and 5th .063. It had some weird looking ad on aftermarket shifter top as you can see. That is the original shifter top. This one has bolt for stops and not really sure what it is. I spinned over trans and shifted it thru the gears and it shifted ok. Car came in with no motor. So I never got drive it. And the front sleeve where the throw out bearing would ride as you can see has a chip missing out of the very front bottom side. Those sleeves are changeable. It just has a flange on the front of the trans, to unbolt and switch out. No cracks or breaks in the housing anywhere. Check out the pictures good. This is sold as is, all sales are final. CAP call on Renault to include battery in Zoe price – when it would cost £25k
Fri, 05 Apr 2013CAP has called on Renault to include the battery cost in the list price of the Renault Zoe EV, otherwise it won’t be able to set residual values. We reported recently on the price of the Renault Zoe EV – which starts at £18k – and were surprised to find that Renault weren’t including battery costs in the purchase price but charging and extra £70-93 a month for leasing them. That leads to a completely misleading headline price for the Zoe and, as used car price experts CAP say, is akin to Ford removing the engine costs from their cars to reduce list price.
Hyundai ix35 Facelift goes further in Korea – and looks better for it
Tue, 07 May 2013Last year we had spy shots of the Hyundai ix35 facelift floating round Korea – Hyundai’s home market – which showed a much more convincing nose than the, then, ix35 in Europe, but they eventually turned out to be photos of the ix35 FCEV which Hyundai had given a nose much more like the new Santa Fe and which we thought pointed at the 2013 facelift for the ix35. But when the Hyundai ix35 did turn up at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show with a bit of a titivate, it was exactly that – some very minor tweaking which kept the 2013 ix35 looking very similar to the 2012 model. But that’s not happening in Korea.
