This is a used deep groove water pump pulley for the 1969 396-375HP (possibly the 69 Z-28 also?). It is straight and in very good condition. It will need a better cleaning and repaint. An eBayer who previously won the first auction suggested this one is a reproduction, after the auction concluded (the pulley wasn't paid for and subsequently not shipped). There were no messages sent from any eBayer during the first auction. Please study the photos and ask questions. This pulley was zip tied to a 291AB crank pulley when I received it. College Exhibition: Elisava University Show 2005
Mon, 02 Jan 2006Students from the Transportation Design Masters program at Spain's Elisava School of Design presented their work in the 2005 Degree Show entitled 'Real Transportation', held in October at the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion in Barcelona. This was the sixth edition of the Transportation Design Masters course. The projects by this year's students aimed to bring creative solutions to real transport issues, while taking into account aspects such as mobility, aerodynamics, environmental impact, ergonomics, legislation, materials, production, security, technology and aesthetic principles.
Lexus Fashion Workshop designers make car parts fashionable
Tue, 29 Nov 2011Lexus is moving from the road to the runway with a new ad campaign set to appear in Vogue magazine. As part of the Lexus Fashion Workshop, the carmaker challenged four fashion designers to create wearable pieces using materials from a dismantled Lexus CT hybrid. The challenge is "elevating the notion of recycling to an art form," according to Lexus, which says the CT hybrid is 90 percent recyclable.
Coventry MA Automotive Design/Vehicle Interiors exhibition 2010
Fri, 10 Dec 2010As the winter takes grip on the northern hemisphere, CDN travel to Coventry, the birthplace of the British car industry – and many a car designer – to catch up with this year's MA Automotive Design and Vehicle Interiors students for their biannual exhibition, held in the city's impressive Transport Museum. This year 15 students, led by tutors Aaamer Mahmud and CDN contributor, Nick Hull, are completing the 16-month postgraduate course. Carrosse Stephane Krumenacker Krumenacker's personal interest in (built) environmental philosophy dictated his approach to this project, which started with a scenario rather than a product.
