Survey: 1 in 4 drivers break law every day
Fri, 29 Nov 2013In a survey of British motorists, 78% of drivers admitted to breaking the law whilst driving – and 27% revealed they do so on a daily basis. The most common offence is speeding, but nearly half of those questioned confessed to using their mobile to phone or text from behind the wheel, and a remarkable 41% said they had driven without wearing a seatbelt. One in three used cars 'have something to hide'
Thu, 10 Oct 2013ONE IN three used cars still has potentially hidden history, according to an analysis of over 10 million checks carried out by HPI. The most common danger is outstanding finance, with one in four cars still having debt attached to them. A new buyer could be liable for all outstanding finance and if he or she can’t pay it, the car could be reclaimed with no compensation.
