2014 Kia Forte trims, slims, adds FlexSteer

The all-new 2014 Kia Forte debuted at the LA Auto Show in November, and it will hit dealerships in the first quarter of this year. Powertrains and trims are consolidated, the interior is updated and the small sedan will now feature something called FlexSteer, which adjusts the weight of the wheel from comfort to normal to sport. Equipment on the second-generation sedan will rival that of almost any of the luxury brands, even in base trim.

Zaha Hadid Z-car concept

Zaha Hadid is an Iraq-born and London-based architect, who became the first female recipient of the Pritzker Architecture Prize in 2004. Her ambitious buildings have earned her much acclaim, and having designed the latest BMW factory, Hadid has now turned her sights on cars with the unveiling of the Z-car concept. Not to be confused with the similarly titled Nissan/Datsun, Hadid?s Z-car is a small plastic-bodied monocoque with a prominent lifting door.

Ferrari 458 dedicated to F1 driver Niki Lauda

In the aftermath of Formula One-inspired Hollywood blockbuster film Rush, one Ferrari owner has dedicated a very special 458 Italia to three-time F1 world champion and former Maranello driver Niki Lauda. It’s a real treat, too, as the mid-engined supercar combines cutting edge design and technology with a stunning 1970s-inspired retro livery created by Ferrari’s Tailor Made customisation programme.
