Mon, 15 Aug 2011The new sport Kia Picanto 3-Door The Kia Picanto of old was a dreary little thing, best thought of as disposable motoring flotsam; so cheap you could throw it away when you’d finished with it. But the new Kia Picanto – revealed at Geneva this year - is a different kettle of fish altogether, and now we’re to get treated to a ‘Sporty’ version too – the 3-door Kia Picanto. Already in a different league in the looks department, the 3-door Picanto raises the bar again and is starting to look almost as good as stuff like the Fiat 500 – but from only £7,795.
Asian brands top annual Consumer Reports rankings on reliability
Tue, 26 Oct 2010Honda, Acura, Porsche and Scion topped the annual Consumer Reports reliability survey released on Tuesday. At the other end of the spectrum, Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz were deemed among the worst. Findings are based on responses about 1.3 million vehicles owned or leased by subscribers to Consumer Reports or its Web site.
LaFerrari joins Supercar exhibition at Ferrari Museum in Maranello
Mon, 11 Mar 2013The new LaFerrari has joined an exhibition of supercars at Ferrari’s Maranello Museum joining cars like the 250 GTO, F40, F50 and Enzo Ferrari. Ferrari boss, Luca di Montezemolo, has opened the Supercar exhibition in Maranello to showcase Ferrari’s greatest models all in one place, an opportunity Ferraristi will find hard to resist. As well as LaFerrari, Ferrari has on show perhaps the greatest supercar in their history – the Ferrari 250 GTO – which was built in very limited numbers – just 33 Series 1 and 3 Series 2 cars – and now commands prices around the $40 million mark, the 288 GTO, the F40 – perhaps the ‘Driver’s’ choice – the F50 and, of course, the Enzo Ferrari.
