Very rare: Original owner's manuals set for 1988 Porsche 911 (the classic chassis) Turbo + Carrera + Carrera CS: Coupe, Targa & Cabriolet models. The is an authentic, original print and period correct Porsche literature set.

1- Genuine Porsche embossed burgundy/maroon (vinyl) manuals storage pouch (case) --- this is the genuine, original and period correct Porsche pouch with the correct interior sleeve brown color for the 1985 models - the vinyl is in great condition without any major blemish or discoloration - two minor separations along the inner sleeve and some minor wrinkles are noted - please see photos!

2- Porsche 911 Carrera Owner's Manual (WKD 473 221   2,0 M   3/85   Edition 85/86) 102 pages of reading material and technical information --- in excellent condition with unmarked and crisp pages - the original spiral spine is in perfect condition with no missing links - no noticeable blemish or any discoloration - very minor wear marks on the covers!

3- 911 Carrera Warranty & Maintenance - Model '85 book (WKD 424 623   6.5 M  9/84   Model 1985) 26 pages --- the original vehicle and owner information have been concealed - no service stamps have been recorded - all the 4 original transfer of ownership and change of address notification cards are also present!

4- Porsche Global Service directory booklet (Edition No. 20   5/1984) --- sought after collectors item!

This manual set is NOT a recently circulated item. It has been in our collection for at least the last 10 years and prior to ours, it was in another collector's possession for well over a decade!

Batches of cars from the extensive collection of Texas attorney John O’Quinn--one of the most impressive collections of classic sheetmetal since William Harrah’s--will cross the auction block this spring at a pair of RM Auction events. O’Quinn, a noted attorney who died in a car crash last October, assembled a collection of at least 800 cars, and it could number as many as 1,300. Fifty-five cars from the collection will be sold at the RM auction on March 13 at Amelia Island, Fla.

The 2015, or 2014.5 depending on who you ask, Ford Mustang will go on sale next April, on the car's 50th anniversary. It will most likely arrive with four-, six- and eight-cylinder engines and for the first time an independent rear suspension. We've already seen a few spy shots of the next Mustang testing, but these pictures supplied by someone on the inside give us our first good look at the front end.
