This came off a 1985 Harley Davidson FLHT Electra Glide Standard carbureted, 1340cc 80ci Evo with 71,560 known miles on it. We did not get the bike running due to a bad starter. Mazda Motor Corp. will reduce its vehicle weights by at least 220 pounds beginning in 2011, with a combination of lighter-weight materials, smaller vehicle footprints and new engineering processes, a top executive says. The typical Mazda vehicle has gained 80 pounds with each successive redesign, “mostly in larger tires and wheels, and safety equipment,” said Robert Davis, senior vice president of product development and quality for Mazda North American Operations.

2012 Kia Soul Facelift arrives in the UK Earlier this year, at the New York Motor Show, we reported on what we called the 2011 Facelift for the Kia Soul. But as it’s now October, and the titivated Soul is only just arriving in the UK, we really ought to rename the latest Kia Soul the 2012 Facelift. But whatever year we append to the facelifted Soul, it’s still good to see Kia’s funky little Marmite car get some decent tweaks to move it forward.

Caterham cars is not part of the sale. In a statement issued today, the sale of the team was said to allow the Caterham Group to focus on its ‘core activities’ that include the British car maker.
