1- 944 Owner's Manual (WKD 473 021   5 M   12/84   Edition 8586/2) 111 pages --- in good condition without any missing pages - a few interior pages show some finger print smudges - the original spiral spine also in fair condition but missing 5 or 6 loops - some wear marks and surface indentations are noted on both covers - please see photos!

2-Warranty & Maintenance booklet (WKD 434 423 87   2000   11/84   Model 1985) 26 pages --- first in service date entered in Mar 1985 - total of 5 service stamps have been entered with last service recorded in Sep 1986 @ 20,923 miles - prior owner's information has been entered and will be concealed - 3 of the 4 owner transfer vouchers are present!

Overall these manuals are in GOOD condition!

GM's Lutz to retire May 1

General Motors Vice Chairman Bob Lutz plans to retire from the automaker effective May 1, according to a statement released by GM on Wednesday. Lutz, 78, had been serving as a senior adviser to GM Chairman and CEO Ed Whitacre after shelving retirement plans to take charge of the automaker's marketing after it emerged from bankruptcy in July 2009. An outspoken executive who both challenged global warming and championed GM's all-electric Volt, Lutz is credited with revitalizing GM's product development efforts after being hired by former GM CEO Rick Wagoner in 2001.

Chevrolet WTCC Ultra concept

Chevrolet has released a sketch of their WTCC Ultra concept that will be unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in three weeks. Styled by Ewan Kingsbury of GM Australia, who also worked on the Holden Torana, the concept was further developed in Europe to produce a fully working prototype, while the engine comes from Korea and the body from Japan. The international collaboration demonstrates the breadth of GM's resources, and has resulted in Chevrolet's vision of a new generation of World Touring Cars.

New Toyota Auris starts rolling out at Burnaston

The new 2013 Toyota Auris – Toyota’s modern Corolla – has commenced production at the Toyota plant in Burnaston. Toyota revealed the new Auris back in August – ahead of a public debut at the Paris Motor Show – which, although pretty much the previous Auris when you dig deep, does offer a more dynamic look and the promise of better driving dynamics too. With the new Auris a big deal for Toyota in Europe, Toyota are trumpeting the start of Auris production in Burnaston and have rolled out Vince Cable, Secretary of State for Business, to mark the occasion.
