Aston Martin V12 Vantage S Roadster Pebble Beach debut With Pebble Beach looming this month we’ll be getting plenty of high-end debuts and expensive four-wheeled works of art art to drool over. We’ve already had the news that Jaguar Land Rover will be debuting 3 cars from the new Special Operations Division – the Range Rover Sport SVR, Jaguar F-Type Project 7 and Jaguar Lightweight E-Type – and now we learn Aston Martin will have a couple of treats for Pebble visitors too. The debut of the Aston Martin you can buy at Pebble will be the new Aston Martin V12 Vantage S Roadster.

Vauxhall Cascada: Official

Wed, 17 Oct 2012

The new 2013 Vauxhall Cascada – a full size convertible and the modern version of the Astra Twin Top – has been revealed. For some reason best known to Vauxhall, they chose not to debut the Cascada at the Paris Motor Show – perhaps to give the new Adam its moment in the sun – but now we get Vauxhall’s latest model in its revised line-up. The Cascada is a proper full size, four seat convertible – it’s only a couple of inches shorter than a Mercedes E Class Cabriolet – and has its underpinnings based on elements from both the Insignia and Astra and comes with a folding fabric roof instead of the tin-top folding roof in the Twin Top which can be raised and lowered in 17 seconds at speeds of up to 30mph.

Nissan Terra SUV concept (2012) first official pictures

Wed, 12 Sep 2012

This is the Nissan TeRRA (which we'll be referring to as the Terra from now on.) It's a hydrogen fuel cell-powered concept car that'll debut on Nissan's stand at the 2012 Paris motor show from 27 September. Strictly a design study with no plans for production, it does nevertheless confirm that Nissan is thinking seriously about fuel cell-equipped cars, and that once the infrastructure is viable, Nissans will be quick to adapt to a hydrogen-fuelled future. It's not Leaf-style EVs, you know.
