THE DIFFERENTIAL IN PICTURES IS THE EXACT ONE YOU'LL GET NOT A STOCK PHOTO.

Up for sale is an OEM ford factory 31 spline center carrier differential section pulled from a 8.8 rear axle. This is the stronger 31 spline unit that was 35% stronger than the stock 28 spline unit in most 8.8 axles. This is a direct replacement bolt in for your 8.8 mustang or truck. I have went thru the diff carrier checked and rebuilt the clutch packs and set them to .645 thickness both sides. I swapped the steel plates around so the clutch isn't against the spider gear. Put the steel plate first on the stack. This 8.8 was in a 1996 ford explorer and was the same carrier used in a variety of fox body mustangs, new edge mustangs, F150's and explorers etc. Basically fits all 8.8 solid axles (not irs) Buyers check fitament. This is NOT a 7.5 4cyl center section this is a V8 8.8 differential. The spider gears looked good inside with normal wear as expected. Matter of fact i do believe the bearings look to be in good reuseable shape too. The axle was full of lube when it was taken apart. This auction comes with whats pictured and that includes the differential pin and the 5/16 long stud for the pin locking mech. This will require you to change to 31 spline axles if you haven't already.

Subaru at the London motor show 2008

Tue, 22 Jul 2008

By Ben Whitworth and CAR reader reporter Jacomoseven Motor Shows 22 July 2008 14:42 It's the British motor show – so we were banking on Subaru pulling off some outrageous Impreza versions. Sure enough, the UK importer didn't disappoint, with a (quite literally, we suspect) handful of madcap Scoobys aimed at those drivers for whom power is utterly addictive. What's new on Subaru's London motor show stand?
