THE THROTTLE BODY SOLD WILL LOOK EXACTLY LIKE THE FIRST PICTURE.

Up for sale is ford factory 65mm throttle body. The accelerator fly that the cable clips to has been modded to fit the ford mustang fox body intakes. Stock or aftermarket, both will fit as if it were an aftermarket TB. The TB was originally pulled from a Ford Explorer w/ an F6 number on it. The F6 number has the return intake tube still attached and houses the same exact TPS sensor that the fox used. There are no issues with the spring nor the set idle screw. Everything works as intended and ready to bolt on.

What i did was simply cut and installed the fox body throttle body accelerator blade (also known as the "accelerator fly blade) on this later model throttle body housing. I have also clocked the intake tube return to fit the fox valve cover return tube. As you can see in pictures i tack welded where the press welds are usually located on the fly cut accelerator blade. Cleaned it up and painted it. Will work as if it were made for fox. Does NOT come with the TPS or IAC sensor because you can simply use your existing one from the smaller fox throttle body in its place with no issues. THERES A LOT OF PHOTOS TO SHOW YOU THE SIZE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE FOX AND THE EXPLORER TB. All you have to do is bolt it on, put your IAC and TPS sensors and go. Make sure you set your TPS sensor to .99 volts with key on engine off. Theres a lot of write ups on the internet about doing the voltage set. This is a nice upgrade for your fox body without breaking the bank. Its about half what a normal aftermarket 65mm TB would sell for. I run these on my turbo and nitrous lightly modified fox mustangs with no issues. The OEM throttle bodys found on most fox body mustangs 86-93 were only 55-60 mm in size so you can see the difference in the pictures. Best part is, its a ford production part. Not aftermarket. Its in great shape and ready to install. Check out the digital calipers and see the size differences.

IF YOU SEEK THE GT40 INTAKES, I HAVE THEM MACHINED, JET WASHED AND CLEANED READY TO INSTALL. ILL COMBINE SHIPPING WITH THIS ITEM. ALSO WE CAN NEGOTIATE A DEAL BY CHANCE. I HAVE BOTH THE STOCK STYLE ACT/IAT SENSOR LOWER GT40 INTAKE AS WELL AS THE NON-TAPPED LOWER INTAKE.

Ford CEO Alan Mulally to deliver keynote address at CES

Tue, 22 Sep 2009

Ford is continuing to double-down on its Sync technology as a way to separate itself from competitors, and in that theme CEO Alan Mulally will again deliver a keynote address at the Consumer Electronics Show in January in Las Vegas. He's expected to unveil the next round of Ford's Sync features at the show, which is a bellwether event for the technology industry. He also spoke at last year's show, and former GM CEO Rick Wagoner addressed it in 2008 as part of efforts by auto execs to showcase new innovations in their cars.

Ford gets another NO on Volvo

Thu, 05 Feb 2009

And the beat goes on… Ford has been trawling the world’s car manufacturers (and Governments) for what seems like forever, in an increasingly desperate attempt to off-load its Swedish subsidiary, Volvo. They appear to have tried everyone from the Swedish Government to BMW and Mercedes, with a fair dose of Chinese firms in between (has Ford offered to sell it to you yet? Don’t worry, it won’t be long!) And now Reuters are reporting that yet another Chinese Car Co has declined the offer.

Fiat 500 Abarth (2008): first official pictures

Wed, 20 Feb 2008

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 20 February 2008 10:00 Watch out Mini, the Fiat 500 – CAR’s car of the year 2007 – is getting the high-performance treatment. The Abarth version unveiled today is pitched as a new interpretation of the Sixties road racer, but can they make a bigger, heavier hatch as exciting as that? The 500 Abarth 2008-style uses the Fiat group’s 16-valve 1.4-litre Fire engine breathing with the assistance of an IHI variable-geometry turbocharger to deliver a warm 135bhp at 5500rpm. So this car won’t challenge the upper echelons of hot-hatchdom that now have to pump out closer to 200bhp to be in contention.
