1987 300ZX Turbo Transmission

This auction is for a 5 speed turbo transmission removed from a 1987 Nissan 300ZX. This transmission worked prior to removal will be an upgrade for many early Z31 models. The below summary of this transmission was removed directly from the "Z31.com" website describing this transmission.

The king daddy of the Z31 manual transmissions is the FS5R30A. This transmission is the same design as the transmission used in the Z32 300ZX models. Only the gear ratios are different. There are Z32s running these transmissions with well over 600 horsepower and are not blowing them up. There are supposedly a few short throw shifters that will work with this transmission. They are usually the cheaper/generic short throws made for the FS5W71C. A lot of people take the stick apart and cut a small section out of it to give the shifter a shorter height. This does shorten the distance travelled, but it does not actually shorten the throw.

The condition of the item is that its in great condition. Its still slightly dirty but shifts smoothly into all gears. Everything seen in the photos is included with this auction.

Wed, 17 Jun 2009

By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 17 June 2009 00:01 This is the first picture of Audi’s new A5 Sportback, essentially an (oxymoronic) four-door version of its A5 Coupe. It’s the first time Audi has officially acknowledged the existence of the car, and along with the solitary photo, the company has also issued a design sketch and video to drum up interest ahead of the A5 Sportback’s launch later in 2009. Bingo – that’s exactly Ingolstadt’s catchphrase for the new car.

Mercedes-Benz A-Class concept

Wed, 13 Apr 2011

The A-Class concept from Mercedes-Benz is set to make its debut at both the Shanghai and New York auto shows later this month. A distinctively aggressive development over the outgoing model, the A-Class concept is said to draw on the 'defined edges and free interplay of surfaces' first demonstrated with the F800 Style. The taught muscularity of other Mercedes models is also translated onto the show car.
