Koenigsegg Agera One:1 is world’s first “megacar”

Even in a world recently introduced to the Ferrari LaFerrari  (sold out), McLaren P1 (sold out) and Porsche 918 Spyder (er… ) hypercars, boutique Swedish supercar maker Koenigsegg has just made an extraordinary announcement. At the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, it will reveal the Agera One:1 – which Koenigsegg has dubbed the world’s first "megacar". Thing is, having looked at the spec, we believe it.

Ford's Mulally gets warm reception at CES

Ford CEO Alan Mulally introduced the Focus electric at the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show on Friday in a presentation that was short on details about the car and long on cures for range anxiety. That's partly because Ford is saving details about the car for next week' Detroit auto show, and partly because range anxiety figures to be a major reason for all but the most committed customers to avoid electric vehicles like the Ford Focus electric. Webinars: Autodesk – Concept Modeling with Maya

Autodesk presented its third Webinar in the series entitled ‘Concept Modeling with Maya' that illustrates how the software helps to create concept models. Martin Emila of Autodesk showed how Maya could accelerate the development of a design concept with the help of polygonal modeling workflow, and how it can be integrated into common workflow - starting with first ideation sketch, move to polygon model and continue to surfacing and visualization. Emila's four-year career at Autodesk has largely focused on conceptual design and visualization.
