Thu, 02 Apr 2009By James Foxall Motor Shows 02 April 2009 14:49 What’s new on Ssangyong’s Seoul motor show stand?There was palpable relief on the Ssangyong stand in Seoul as the motor show press day followed a company conference where its rejuvenation package had been outlined to worried importers. This is being led by the C200, a Nissan Qashqai-style crossover SUV that will come in both two -and four-wheel drive formats. Production of Ssangyong’s first ever monocoque car starts in November 2009 and it’ll be on sale in the UK for March 2010, promising a cheap alternative to traditional makers.
Syd Mead exhibition opens in New York
Tue, 15 May 2012A selection of the work of Syd Mead – the designer behind some of the most iconic vehicles in films such as Blade Runner and Aliens – has gone on display at the BravinLee Gallery in New York. The exhibition of the works, which span the forty years of his career to date, is sure to excite fans of the visionary designer, who continues to inspire designers young and old. Daniel Simon, the concept designer behind such films as Marvel's Captain America and TRON Legacy, for example has worked closely with Mead.
Lamborghini Huracan: Is this the name of the new Gallardo?

We’re currently suffering a spate of teases for the successor to the Lamborghini Gallardo – which we expected to be the Cabrera – but it seems it won’t get the Cabrera moniker after all – it’s apparently going to be the Lamborghini Huracan. So says Auto Express who’ve been tipped the wink by someone who seems to know.
