Ralph Gilles talks past, present and SRT future

Ralph Gilles -- SRT boss, Chrysler vice president of design, curator of something called the "Man Van," has become the public face of Chrysler performance, carrying the legacy of Firepower engines and 428 Coronets and the Dodge Viper RT/10 into the future with the Challenger, Charger and Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8s. Since "unofficially" helping form it in 2003, Gilles has seen SRT transformed into Chrysler's most coherent performance strategy since Plymouth Rapid Transit, a company-wide force so much greater than the flagship Dodge Viper. BMW unveils 2012 Olympic Pavilion

BMW – one of the major sponsors of the 2012 London Olympic and Paralympic Games – has unveiled its pavilion for the event. Designed by British architecture firm Serie, the Pavilion makes use of various carbon reducing and recycled elements in its construction to symbolize BMW's sustainability drive. The Pavilion's upper platform will feature a range of BMW products, including the new i3 and i8 electric models, whilst the lower part will house an interactive display that allows visitors to view just how BMW is supporting both the Olympic games and Team GB.

Audi RS6 claims ice record over Bentley

Four rings apparently conquers a Continental. A company called Nokian Tyres claimed a new world record of speed on ice when an Audi RS6 ran to 206.05 mph on March 6 in Finland. That betters Bentley's recent record of 205.48 mph just set in February by four-time World Rally champion Juha Kankkunen in a Supersports convertible.
