This Kuryakyn Heel Toe Shifter set came off a 1989 GL1500.  Overall, it is in really good shape.  This style mounts right onto the bike's foot peg mounting points so installation should be pretty easy.  Both of the foot pegs have some rashing on the outside bottom (see closeup photos).  One of the foot pegs has a rubber piece that is partially separating (see closeup photo), a dab of the right adhesive should fix that right up.  You'll need to find a replacement cotter pin for the right side foot peg.  The bolt that fits between the shifter arm and the pivot that attaches to the shifter arm coming from the bike is slightly bent (see last closeup photo).  There are a few rubs where various pieces pivot together and move, but nothing you can see when installed.  There is some light rock chipping on the undersides of the foot pegs.  I'll be shipping this partially disassembled to keep the shipping cost low enough for me to offer free shipping.   Let me know if you have questions or would like to see more pictures. Thanks for checking out my listing.

Tesla Model S charging system may have started garage blaze

Thu, 19 Dec 2013

A fire department in Southern California said a garage fire may have been caused by an overheated charging system in a Tesla Model S sedan, in the latest link between the top selling electric car and the potential for fire. While Tesla Motors Inc. contends the fire was not related to the car or its charging system, the Orange County Fire Authority said the Tesla-supplied charging system or the connection at the electricity panel on the wall of the garage of a single-family home could have caused the fire.

New Jaguar XE will get the V6 engine from the F-Type

Wed, 02 Apr 2014

The new Jaguar XE (pictured) will get the F-Type’s V6 We’re expecting the Jaguar XE – Jaguar’s new smaller saloon aimed at the BMW 3-Series – to arrive at the Paris Motor Show in September before going on sale in 2015 after Jaguar revealed the first official details on the XE at the Geneva Motor Show this month. Jaguar were a little vague on detail, although they did confirm the XE would come with aluminium underpinnings – a first for the sector and to be shared with the new Jaguar SUV when that arrives – and offer Jaguar’s new range of 4-cylinder diesel and petrol engines. But what Jaguar also said is that there will be a range-topping XE capable of 186 mph, which seemed a bit of a stretch for a 4-cylinder engine, however good.
