What I have up for bids here is a good used Briggs & Stratton 8.0hp 1" shaft horizontal engine as shown above pulled from a snow blower we parted out a few years ago. Engine has been sitting in our shop on a shelf since being pulled. We are beginning to self off a lot of our older inventory and engines and this 8hp Briggs is the second to go. Engine would be perfect for the guy who is on a budget and looking for "long block" engine used 8hp engine for his project, or maybe for the guy who just needs a replacement engine for his tiller, waterpump, go kart, minibike, brush hog, hovercraft, log splitter, generator, pressure washer, air compressor, snow blower or other application. One Briggs & Stratton 8hp "long block" engine as shown below and above. Engine is an model 190402-0171-01..Engine is a heavy duty model with the horizontal shaft with a shaft diameter or 1" and length of 2 3/4". Engine is set-up with the electric start ring gear and provisions on the engine to mount the starter. Engine as noted is a "long block" so you will need to supply your carburetor and intake. Now in regard to condition, engine is in good running condition, but cosmetically shows some paint wear and common wear here and there.. Below and above I have attached 7 pictures of the engine to give you a better idea of the style and condition. Please review before bidding.
