2013 Audi A3 sketches revealed
Mon, 11 Apr 20112013 Audi A3 Hatch - there's also a saloon in the gallery below We’ve already had something of a glimpse of part of the next generation Audi A3 with the reveal at Geneva last month of the Audi A3 Concept. That Audi A3 Concept – which came complete with 400bhp and a boot – was really a look at the next generation RS3 in saloon guise – an Audi A3 that will go down a storm in an America quickly realising the joys of something smaller and swift. New Subaru Impreza finally goes on sale in the UK – price from £17,495
Sat, 22 Mar 2014The new Subaru Impreza Hatch (pictured) goes on sale in May It’s a bit hard to call the Subara Impreza the ‘new’ Impreza when it’s already three years since it was revealed and more than two years since it went on sale in Japan and the US. But the latest Subaru Impreza is new for the UK as Subaru has decided the Yen has weakened enough since the Impreza’s launch to make it a viable option to import it. Even so, it is a bit of a Hobson’s choice for buyers with just the Impreza Hatch – not the saloon – on offer and only in a single trim level and with a single engine option – the 1.6 litre petrol Boxer engine.
Car insurance cost at four-year low
Thu, 10 Apr 2014THE COST of insuring a car has fallen to a four-year low as motorists benefit from a record 19% drop in average premiums compared with a year ago. The Confused.com car insurance price index, in association with Towers Watson, reveals the average cost of comprehensive car insurance in the first quarter stood at £596, a drop of £140 against this time last year. The figure, including a reduction of 7.5% on the previous quarter, means that average premiums have dipped below £600 for the first time since late 2009.
