Land Rover Freelander 2 Facelift (2011) Revealed
Wed, 04 Aug 2010The tweaked - and more powerful - Land Rover Freelander 2 2011 Back in May we reported that there would be a facelift for the Freelander 2 for 2011, with the required cosmetic tweaks to keep it fresh for another year or two, and to bring the Freelander 2 in to line with the rest of Land Rover’s models. Here we are three months later and Land Rover have revealed the 2011 Freelander 2 – and a surprise. The surprise is that Land Rover aren’t waiting for the Range Rover Evoque to hit the roads to piss off the Land Rover aficionados by launching a 2WD model, they’ve decided to get it out of the way early and are going to launch a 2WD Freelander 2 in January 2011.
Saab 9-4X Revealed
Mon, 18 Oct 2010Saab 9-4X Revealed It’s nice to see that Saab are getting back to being a maker of cars rather than a pawn of GM, and the reveal this afternoon of the Saab 9-4X marks the second new model in 2010 for Saab, even though both the Saab 9-5 and the Saab 9-4X have been on the horizon for what seems like forever. And, of course, after years (buried) under the GM umbrella Saab’s products are going to be GM based, at least for now. So what we have with the Saab 904X is a Saab-ised Cadillac SRX, but that’s not too bad a thing.
Lamborghini Jota: The tease begins
Wed, 02 Jun 2010The Lamborghini Jota Tease (click for bigger picture) How could we have a new car these days without having to suffer an interminable tease? Jaguar took the drawn-out tease to new heights last year with the new XJ tease and it seems that we can’t have a release any more without getting fed bizarre imagery and ‘spy’ video. But Lamborghini look set to make the tease even more ‘un-informing’ than before.
