Mercedes to build CLS Shooting Brake

Mercedes has announced that the CLS Shooting Brake, which was shown as a concept at the Beijing motor show in April 2010, will go into production in 2012.  Well, if you want a car that will turn heads around town – and find the E-class estate has a little too much room – then this is the car for you. Mercedes-Benz courts Renault for new Smart model based on Twingo

Mercedes-Benz is set to join forces with Renault in a deal aimed at providing its underdeveloped Smart division with a contemporary-engineered front-engine/front-wheel-drive platform as the basis for a frugal new Forfour model. The new Smart, due out in 2013, is planned to sit on a lightly modified version of the Renault Twingo’s underpinnings, complete with a 93.3-inch wheelbase. Chevrolet Colorado Rally concept

Chevrolet has announced the second concept that previews the brand's next generation of pickups ahead of its official unveiling at the 5th Buenos Aires Auto Show. Following on from the Colorado concept shown in Bangkok, the Colorado Rally truck takes the basic premise of the first Colorado concept and adds a dose of aggression, with the vehicle gaining increased ride height, chunkier tires and a more prominent under body.
