Red Tails Mustang joins auction at AirVenture Oshkosh

Ford has produced a one-off Red Tails edition of the 2013 Ford Mustang GT for an auction at the Gathering of Eagles charity event on July 26. The event will take place during the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) AirVenture Oshkosh 2012 at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, Wis. Proceeds will benefit the Young Eagles program, which provides free introductory flights for young people.

Pruett Vineyard releases wine celebrating the Rolex 24 at Daytona anniversary

Race-car driver Scott Pruett is a master in the vineyard as well as at the track, and his Pruett Vineyard has released four new vintages this fall in time for the gift-giving seasons. The recent releases include a 2008 Pruett Napa Cab, a 2010 Pruett Grenache, a 2009 Lucky Lauren Red and a 2009 Pruett Estate Syrah--which tastes of purple fruits with traces of ginger and black pepper--that commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Rolex 24 at Daytona. Dodge Hornet 'could be partnered with Nissan'

The concept car was first shown back in 2006 and is being readied for a launch in 2010. Chrysler had been negotiating with Chinese car maker Chery, but according to CAR's sources it could now be developed with Nissan.
