No nicks, no rips, no fading.  Very nice, if not mint, boot shifter for an automatic 90-92 Firebird.  This is the nicest I've seen.  GM original.  Not a reproduction.  I don't say this often, but perfect for a restoration as I believe it's important to keep your car original.  Pay attention to the last picture.  This will only fit the later years (some 1990, all 1991, and all 1992) shifter plates.  The shift indicator will have small squares next the gear options.  14 day return minus shipping if not satisfied.  You aren't likely to see a nice original GM one like this again.  Ships in a padded envelope.

Thu, 28 Feb 2013

Porsche announced last week that it will recall more than 2,200 Carrera and Carrera 4 911s because internal testing indicated the tailpipe could crack and detach from the rear muffler on vehicles with more than 25,000 miles. Affected vehicles include 2012 and 2013 models built between March 7, 2012 and Nov. 12, 2012.

Honda readies its jet airplane -- for real this time

Thu, 22 May 2014

Honda would like to remind you that while journalists have spent the last few years fretting whether the Big H has "lost its way," the company has quietly launched, shelved, resurrected, and all but waited out its plan to dominate the business-jet skies, which we are to assume are less friendly than United's. The HA-420 HondaJet has been kicking around for more than 10 years now, but the very first production-ready plane just rolled off the assembly line in Greensboro, N.C., this week -- and, Honda promises, the $4.5 million business jet should be delivered in the second quarter of next year. Honda began taking orders for the jet in 2006, but the long recession squashed the market for private jets.

The finish line is in sight for development of the next McLaren supercar, the MP4-12C. The project has entered the final phase of testing with a new round of prototypes that feature significant advancements from last year. McLaren released film on Tuesday of two versions of the new testers, called the XP8 and the XP10, which it says are in the "beta phase" of development.
