Bench Racing: New crop of supercars

It's been a while since we've hypothetically raced a handful of cars around the office; long enough that an entirely new crop of supercars has arrived for us to chart, graph and dissect. Today we're zeroing in on the $1-$3 million price tag range, which fits the Ferrari LaFerrari, McLaren P1, Pagani Huayra and the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport. The first three fit neatly, pricewise, at about $1.3 million.

Geneva 2014 debut for Vauxhall Astra VXR Extreme concept

Vauxhall will unveil its fastest Astra model ever at this year’s 2014 Geneva Motor Show when it pulls the covers off its Astra VXR Extreme concept car. UPDATED: 2014 Chevrolet Corvette LT1 V8 to make 460 hp, 465 lb-ft

UPDATED 5/28/2013: Chevrolet has officially rated the 2014 Corvette Stingray LT1 V8 at 460 hp at 6,000 rpm and 465 lb-ft of torque at 4,000 rpm.
