New Ford Mustang leaks out ahead of official reveal

The first photo of the 2015 Ford Mustang Ford has been busy getting ready for a reveal of the new 2015 Ford Mustang on the 5th December, but their powder has been made a little damp by scanned images from Autoweek’s story on the new Mustang leaking out ahead of publication. The new Mustang still looks like a Mustang, but in a  nod to Ford’s European styling mantra it gets a version of the Aston Martin like grill now proliferating across Ford’s European range together headlights incorporating LEDs. At the back, the new Mustang has the required three bar lights and a new diffuser, whilst the interior looks decent quality if a little retro in style.

BMW to launch app for music on demand

BMW is partnering with online-music-service provider MOG to develop an application that allows on-demand music to be streamed inside its cars. The service launches with the BMW 6-series this fall. The MOG app for the BMW Apps option has on-demand streaming with unlimited, ad-free listening; mobile storage for music, and the ability to search, tag songs or listen to curated content.

VW to build engine plant in Mexico to supply Tenn. factory, source says

Volkswagen AG plans to announce Wednesday that it will build an engine plant in Mexico to supply vehicles assembled in North America, a source at the company's assembly plant in Puebla said. A VW spokesman confirmed that the company will make an announcement but declined to say what it will concern. The new plant will supply an existing VW plant in Puebla, 75 miles southeast of Mexico City, and one being built in Chattanooga, Tenn., the source said.
