Eterniti Motors opens London shop

The 10,000-square foot building in Park Royal not only hosted the opening-day party, but also displayed the company’s first production model, the Eterniti Artemis SUV. Tue, 25 Oct 2011Exotic-car tuner Underground Racing from North Carolina prepared a Ferrari 458 Italia with a “bolt-on” twin-turbo system, boosting engine output to 700 hp. For comparison, the tuner matched the blown Ferrari against a Lamborghini LP-700-4 Aventador and its naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12, rated at 700 hp. “We were interested to see how they stacked up against each other after seeing a twin-turbo Gallardo almost get beat by an Aventador,” Underground Racing president Kevin Howeth said.

The man knows his stuff, and has the ability to interpret the regulations to suit his cause, and the FIA has today ruled that he’s right. So Brawn and Jenson Button’s wins stand, the cars are legal (as are those of Williams and Toyota) and the rest of the F1 teams are going to have to play catch-up very quickly if they’re going to have a chance this year.
