'Grid Autosport' finds its motorsports roots

Video-game maker Codemasters is back in the news today, this time with its next driving game for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. The trailer for “Grid Autosport” appeared on YouTube on Tuesday, and it looks like the company is going back to its beginnings. From the trailer and interviews at videogamer.com, we can see that nearly every shot features real racetracks and race cars.

It’s the second time Audi has won the award – the Audi A6 won in 2005 – and probably holds up a mirror to the changing face of the world’s car landscape; more compact, ‘Premium’ cars are now the most favoured buy. F1: Mercedes sticks with McLaren – Brawn still likely

Mercedes are sticking with McLaren for the 2010 season - but probably Brawn GP too. As the F1 season drew to a close at the Yas Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi yesterday, the whole of the top end of Mercedes Benz management was on hand. They had expected to see Lewis Hamilton in the Mercedes McLaren waltz to a win, but had to settle for simply powering the world champion – Jenson Button – to victory this year and claiming third and fourth place at the inaugural Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
