This is 52mm ported throttle body. We remove the 48mm hour glass shape inside and taper it up to 55mm. Thin out the shaft and install new blades and ss screws. The idle screw plug has also been removed for easer tuning. All cnc machined and ready to bolt on using factory hardware and sensors. $40 will be refunded to you as soon as I receive your old one minus the sensors and brackets. Please let me know what year and model you have because there's some different linkage types. I would suggest you get a throttle body from a junkyard and send me that one. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. You can see in the picture the huge difference between the two. This will require you to reset your computer and clean or replace the IAC valve in order for it to re learn the idle speed.

Please note... ONLY CORES FROM A mid 96 AND UP CAN BE MADE INTO A 52mm... If you have something older you may have to find one in a junkyard to send in for core...You also have the option of sending yours in a head of time and avoiding the core charge completely. Please let me know if that is what you want to do. Also, the cores must be somewhat clean! Cores that are returned greasy or have lots of oxidation will only be refunded $15. If there is a broken screw only $10 will be refunded. Cores that are broken in any way will not be refunded at all. Having good clean cores is the only way to keep the price down... Most self help junkyards charge $30 for a used one. If you have multiple cores I can cut the price a bit too....

Renault/Lovegrove Studio Twin'Z concept

Tue, 09 Apr 2013

The Renault Twin'Z concept is a collaborative project with British designer Ross Lovegrove, filling the fifth stage in Laurens van den Acker's 'lifecycle' – Play. It's currently on display at the Milan Salone. Essentially previewing the all-new, rear-engined Twingo co-developed with Daimler, the Twin'Z takes this relatively humble city car and, thanks to the input of Lovegrove, it appears to have taken on an organic nature, which shouldn't be unexpected to those familiar with his work.

Kia GT concept (2011) at Frankfurt motor show

Mon, 12 Sep 2011

When CAR visited Kia’s Korean test facility in Namyang back in April 2011, there were several clues to suggest the company was looking into some kind of high-performance saloon: we saw an M3 and a Nissan GT-R in the car park, plus a senior engineer told us that he and the team often pondered what it would be like to build a – very specific this – V6 turbo, rear-wheel drive sports coupe. Board members, meanwhile, suggested we wait until the 2011 Frankfurt motor show to see what performance treats they had planned. Well, here’s the first glimpse of what all those clues could mean: the Kia GT.
