Everyone once in a while in my travels through salvage yards you come across a car you never saw before and you know you will never see again. It absolutely does not belong in a junkyard and you have no idea how it got there. This is one such car. A 1992 Mercedes V12 600SEL. The car could be started and ran well. It is visually Perfect with absolutely no dents. The plush Leather Black upholstery is like new. Need some bullet proof Glass - look no further this car has it. The only thing wrong with this silver beast is that it looks like it was parked under a tree for several years. Someone might have had some plans for a restoration and then just gave up and junked this beauty or maybe the owner died or was arrested and the car was abandoned. You are bidding on a Used GENERAL MULTI FUNCTION MODULE removed from a 1992 Mercedes 600SEL V12 Sedan. The car only has 74000 miles on the odometer. The odometer may or may not work - I have no way of knowing. This Unit is GUARANTEED to work to your satisfaction. Check out the Input Receptacle - it still has the original Dielectric Grease on the Pins. This Item looks like New. The Mercedes Part Number is 009 545 90 32. The part numbers of the Unit you wish to replace must match the part numbers of this Unit. To the best of my knowledge his Unit was found in 1992 1993 1994 Mercedes S600 600SEL and 600SEC Models with the big V12 Six Cylinder Engine and ASR. Fourth Chinese Auto Design Competition launched

Sponsored by China's Society of Automotive Engineers, the China Industrial Design Association, the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission and the Beijing Fengtai District People's Government, the competition is the largest and most authoritative state-level professional event. Held biennially, this year's Chinese Auto Design competition is divided into two categories: Design Innovation (which judges current vehicles created by automakers) and Creative Design.
Citroen C1 Recall – only 36 UK cars affected
Mon, 01 Feb 2010Citroen are recalling just 36 cars in the UK over the sticky throttle problem Yesterday we ran a story on the Toyota Recall spreading to affect Citroen and Peugeot, and commenting that we thought the number of cars in the UK that would be affected would be relatively small, certainly in comparison to the number of Toyotas affected. And it turns out we were right – just 36 Citroen C1s sold in the UK have a potential problem. Which is very good news for Citroen.
Meadow Brook concours crowns 1939 Delahaye and 1934 Packard best of show
Sun, 02 Aug 2009Two long-gone luxury liners, a 1939 Delahaye and a 1934 Packard, won best-of-show honors Sunday at the 30th Meadow Brook Concours d'Elegance, standing out in a field of 250 pristine cars from bygone eras on a sun-drenched afternoon of nostalgia in suburban Detroit. The Delahaye 165 Cabriolet by Figoni & Falaschi won in the European category, while the Packard V-12 Sport Sedan by Dietrich, a ghost of Detroit's luxury car-making past, returned to grab top honors among the American products. The Delahaye, a drop-dead gorgeous maroon showpiece dripping in chrome and set off with yellow headlights, also won the People's Choice award.
