This ensures equal fuel distribution to all cylinders. Because most vehicles have one oxygen sensor for 4 cylinders ( as most V8's ) this means the computer cannot detect individual cylinders that are slightly leaner or richer than the others. So under heavy load or high speed, if one leaking injector causes the entire side of the engine to appear too rich, the computer can try to lean out that whole side to correct the problem, resulting in 3 cylinders running too lean and one still rich due to a leaking injector. This can be very dangerous to the longevity of the motor. So by ensuring equal flow to all cylinders this helps increase engine longevity especially in racing or off road applications.

OUR RECONDITIONING PROCESS ;

• Each injector is externally cleaned and inspected for any damage to the body, connectors, etc. that would render the unit inoperable.

• Each injector undergoes a state of the art ultra-sonic cleaning process which breaks down any deposits that have formed inside the injector that would cause it to stick open or close, or inhibit the mechanical function of the unit.

• The injectors then get reverse flushed to remove any broken down deposits from inside the unit while the internal filters are removed.

• Then each injector is placed on our flow bench where it is checked for proper flow at static ( wide open ) and also checked at various different operating speeds to ensure it is functioning properly.

• Each unit is tested for leaks under high pressure.

• The injectors are then grouped in matching sets within 1% variance based on the static flow measurement taken during the testing.

• New filters, o-rings, spacers and pintle caps are installed in each unit.

• Any old paint or surface rust is removed from all metal bodied injectors, then each injector is clear coated or repainted to protect the metal from future rust.

• All injectors are assembled with all new parts based on the application it is designated for.
