Watch sinkhole form at National Corvette Museum

The National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Ky. has released security-camera footage showing the formation of the sinkhole that swallowed eight rare cars yesterday. The 40-foot-wide sinkhole, which could be between 25 and 30 feet deep, opened at roughly 5:44 a.m.

2006 Interior Motives Design Awards

Now into its fourth year, the annual design awards ceremony hosted by Interior Motives magazine was held on the second press day of the 2006 Paris Motor Show. Volvo's research proves car design invokes basic human emotions

Car design and human emotion are inexorably linked, according to new research from Volvo. The experiment, conducted in collaboration with Electroencephalographic (EEG) specialists Myndplay, tested respondents to analyse how the brain reacts emotionally to car design amongst other things. Participants were asked to rate a series of images whilst wearing an EEG headset that measured brainwave activity.
