Audi are running an RS5 at the Pikes Peak Hillclimb event in Colorado and taking the opportunity to showcase Ducati with a competition. The Pikes Peak International Hillclimb is a 12 mile hillclimb event held in the Pikes Peak Mountain Range in Colorado, with 156 turns and a climb to 4,720 feet. A test of any car (or motorbike).

Volkswagen used the “Oprah Winfrey Show” to tease the 2012 Beetle, which arrives in showrooms next fall. A silhouette of the diminutive new car was shown on Monday on the TV show, and it's expected to have sleeker styling with a stretched-out roofline. That cue was also seen on the 2005 Ragster concept.

But car makers are starting to push FCEVs in a bigger way as production costs fall and performance increases, and Hyundai are at the forefront of this move with the hydrogen-powered ix35 and its US equivalent the Hyundai Tucson.
