2014 Hyundai Tucson gets direct injection, small price increase

Hyundai introduced the refreshed 2014 Tucson crossover on Wednesday. It will be the first model to get the company's 2.0-liter Nu direct-injection engine; the other option is the 2.4-liter Theta II. For 2014, the Tucson offers new projector headlights with LED accents and LED taillights.

In the week Ford built its 350 millionth car, the Ford Focus has been  revealed as the best selling car in the world in 2012. It probably helps that the Ford Focus is now a proper world car, rather than just a European model, but it’s still an impressive claim - the Ford Focus sold 522,181 in the first seven months of 2012, making it the world’s top selling car. Michelin Challenge Design announces 2009 jury

Michelin Challenge Design, one of the world's top design competitions, has announced its panel of judges for 2009. The distinguished group of automotive design leaders will meet in July at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, to select the vehicle designs and concepts for special exhibition at the 2009 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit next January. This year marks the eighth year for the international competition.
