Scion FR-S concept
Thu, 21 Apr 2011Another day, another variation on the fabled Toyota FT-86. Following on from the FT-86 II at Geneva and the re-emergence of the original version at the Seoul Auto Show, New York played host to the Scion FR-S concept. Unsurprisingly, the FR-S boasts the same front-engine, rear-wheel drive sports car demeanor - hence the name - but differs visually from the other variations from the long awaited Toyota.
Lotus Evora – all new photos
Sat, 02 May 2009All new pictures of the Lotus Evora - to be launched in the UK in June It does seem to have taken for ever to get the Lotus Evora in to showrooms – it’s been coming for almost a year now. We did finally get Lotus Evora specifications and UK prices back in March, but even though the launch has once again been put back (from May until June) the release of these photos is clear evidence that finally the Lotus Evora is about ready. The first four-seater Lotus in an age (although it’s really a 2+2, and then only if you pay extra for the rear seats), the Evora has a mid-engined 3.5 litre V6 Toyota lump, fettled and sorted by Lotus to produce 276bhp.
BMW DesignworksUSA to revamp Singapore Airlines
Tue, 28 Aug 2012BMW DesignworksUSA has been set the task of developing Singapore Airlines' new First Class seats and cabin interior. Given the fast-paced improvement in the quality of premium Asian air travel – Emirates and Cathay Pacific are two examples – Singapore Airlines has decided to revamp its First Class area while upgrading its in-flight entertainment system. The chief redesign will be limited to its First and Business Class sections as those are the main sources of revenue but economy passengers will see upgraded headrests and seating.
