While it might seem that a thief disappearing into the night with a celebrity's Lamborghini would be something out of a Nicholas Cage movie, it proves that truth sometimes is stranger than fiction. In May 2011, someone broke into the British Motor Car Distributors dealership in San Francisco one night and drove off with a yellow 2008 Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder. The Lambo, owned by celebrity chef and friend of Autoweek Guy Fieri, was seemingly lost forever.

The Fiat Panda Cross, that mirculous little go-anywhere 4×4, which only came to the UK a few months ago, has won the Top 4×4 Award from 4×4 and MPV Driver Magazine. Well done! General Motors CEO Dan Akerson is auctioning off his 1958 Regal turquoise Chevrolet Corvette for Habitat for Humanity Detroit. The proceeds will go to rebuild the Morningside Commons area of the lower east side of the city. Interested buyers can get a preview of the car during the Woodward Dream Cruise.
