You are bidding on a very nice modified Infinity Dodge combo CD/Tape player with iPod/aux input. All functions work flawlessly including radio, CD, tape player, aux input and illumination with ALL 3 EQ LED's in all positions! Aux in pigtail from the rear of the radio to mount in remote location of your choice. Very discreet, keep your car/truck all original. Unit is in excellent cosmetic condition and functions as new. This gem would make a nice fit into any Dodge/Chrysler or Jeep! Guaranteed to function as described for 30 day's of purchase. Compatible with or without Infinity system. Fully compatible with steering wheel controls. Illumination is green but has a blue appearance in the pics from the camera rest assured, it's green! The aux input has been hardwired into the amplifier of this stereo. You get FULL STEREO CD quality sound from your iPod or mp3 player while leaving your car completely stock. Just plug in your iPod, XM satellite radio, ANY mp3 player and start enjoying your favorite music. Compatible with any audio device with a headphone jack. Beware of copy cat sellers who wire up their aux input with cat 5 cable which is an inferior wire for this application. I perfected this modification on this radio several years ago. If not modded correctly, this radio will have a buzzing sound which can be heard in between songs when audio is quiet, even when playing a CD. My work is extremely high quality with superior craftsmanship and crystal clear CD quality audio with ground loop isolation via the aux input port which gives 100% noise free audio. If you buy a radio that has cat 5 cable slung from the back, you paid to much! Here's how it works! Simply plug in your 3.5 mm cord. This overrides the audio signal and allows input from the aux port. Unplug cord and radio signal returns. No tape or CD required. Simple Plug n' Play! Aux cord NOT included. Danville concours honors Phil Hill
Thu, 06 Oct 2011"Cool Cars for a Cause" is the slogan for the Danville (Calif.) Concours d'Elegance, and it's an apt description for a gathering of classic, vintage-racing and contemporary cars, along with a few restored racing boats carefully parked along Danville's charming downtown streets. The event has raised more than $1 million for Parkinson's disease research and patient care. This year, the event honored Phil Hill, who succumbed to complications from the disease in 2008 after a legendary international career in racing and classic-car restoration.
RIP Anatole ‘Tony’ Lapine 1930–2012
Wed, 09 May 2012Anatole ‘Tony’ Lapine, head of Style Porsche from 1969 to 1988, passed away at the age of 81 on 29 April at his home in Baden-Baden, Germany. Lapine is best known for overseeing the then new generation of cars during his time at Porsche. These included Wolfgang Möbius' iconic 1978 928 and the Harm Lagaay-designed 924/944.
