The company will lose output of roughly 40,000 vehicles over the three-day period, spokesman Dion Corbett said.

In fact, despite the Gallardo’s demise at the end of 2013, Lamborghini managed to increase its turnover in 2013 to €508 million – up €39 million on 2012 – and break records for V12 sales in the process.
