Honda Civic Tourer (2013) at Frankfurt motor show
Sun, 11 Aug 2013The new Honda Civic Tourer might just be a better looker than its hatchback brother. Binning the split rear window tailgate and forming a ‘floating roofline’ makes for a decent-looking estate – but we expected that after clapping eyes on the concept car. Vauxhall Insignia Ecoflex (2009) first pictures
Tue, 21 Apr 2009By Ben Barry First Official Pictures 21 April 2009 13:20 Vauxhall has announced its answer to the planet-conscious Volkswagen Passat Bluemotion – the Insignia Ecoflex. Essentially the Ecoflex is a 158bhp 2.0-litre CDTi Insignia, but an army of now-familiar C02-slashing improvements have been swung into action. These improvements include under-car panelling and a lower ride height to help the Insignia cut through air more cleanly (the drag factor falls from 0.27Cd to 0.26), plus lower rolling resistance Michelin tyres.
'Jag-Landy deal in 2 weeks'
Thu, 06 Mar 2008By Tim Pollard Motor Industry 06 March 2008 18:50 It was the story that never happened. Rival media reported that the Jaguar/Land Rover sale would be completed at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this week, but CAR Online spoke to executives close to the deal who said it wouldn’t be for another couple of weeks.‘We didn’t want to over-shadow the products at the show, but to be honest the deal just isn’t done yet,’ said our insider. He said the paperwork and epic detail required on a deal of this scale had created new delays – and revealed that the 4-5 March date had been leaked from the unions, not Ford or Tata.
