Kia To Finally Show Its Sporty Side
Thu, 19 Dec 2013KOREAN car maker Kia has released a teaser image ahead of a big reveal at next month’s Detroit motor show. Keen to take a slice of the global sports car market, the firm is to unveil a racy-looking concept car. To date Kia has resisted producing anything overtly performance orientated, although earlier this year it dipped its toe in the water with the launch of the Pro Cee’d GT ‘warm hatch’.

We speculated the 650S would be a tweaked 12C with more power and styling tweaks, and that’s exactly what it is. Driving has managed to publish the first official photos this morning (albeit in fairly low res) and it’s clear the 650S is the 12C with a healthy does of P1 mixed in for extra appeal.
16-year-old Verstappen to race in Formula 1

The 16-year-old is set to become the youngest driver in F1's history after joining Toro Rosso for the 2015 campaign. Verstappen - 17 in September and currently competing in Formula Three - will replace Frenchman Jean-Eric Vergne at the Red Bull-owned team.
