2014 fuel duty rise cancelled
Thu, 05 Dec 2013Chancellor George Osborne has confirmed in his Autumn Statement that the proposed 2014 fuel duty increase has been cancelled. This means the scheduled 2p increase in tax on every litre of petrol will now no longer happen. University students learn product development at Eco Car Challenge

The event, at the Environmental Protection Agency's laboratory in Ann Arbor, Mich., allowed journalists to get behind the wheel of these test cars. It was part of a competition among 16 North American universities to design, develop and build vehicles that are forward-looking yet practical.
