LIQUIDATING MY 30 YEAR COLLECTION OF ANTIQUE TOOLS & TOOL CATALOGS

This is MAC Tools catalog #MT95cat,  dated January 1995.   All the general automotive tools of the day with many specialties. Nicely illustrated/photographed catalog with 476 pages including index,  in color, gloss card stock covers, paper interior,   8 1/2" x 11"  full size format.  This catalog is in good overall condition with lightly scuffed covers, normal handling wear but clean throughout & complete.  It's priced accordingly.

MAC was a direct competitor to all the major tooling manufacturers such as Bonney, Cornwell, Herbrand, OTC,  Snap-On and others. Since 1938 they have remained a strong competitor producing a quality product and still exist as a going-concern nearing their 80th year anniversary. Their fine old tools have survived the years and can still be found in the tool boxes of professional mechanics, at swap meets, eBay and estate sales.

Mercedes CLA starts to roll off production line in Hungary

Fri, 25 Jan 2013

The Mercedes CLA – the baby Mercedes CLS based on the new A Class – has started to roll off the production line at Kecskemét in Hungary. But that’s probably unfair; based as it is on the new A-Class, the CLA is a very good car under the skin, even if its big USP is the dramatic styling. Now, just over a week after the CLA got its first public reveal (if you don’t count the Mercedes Concept Style Coupe on which its based), the first production car has rolled off the line at the Mercedes plant in Kecskemét, Hungary.

This is the MG Concept 5, a Focus-sized five-door hatchback designed in the UK and making its debut at the 2011 Shanghai motor show. MG 5…so it’s smaller than the new MG 6, I take it? Yes.

Daihatsu Copen revised

Wed, 14 Mar 2007

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 14 March 2007 09:08 The Daihatsu Copen - a Suzuki Cappuccino for the 21st century? Britain's cheapest roadster has been given a massive engine boost, after Daihatsu chopped the 660cc engine in the Copen for a 1.3 twin-cam. The Copen was conceived under Japan's K-car rules for short micro cars with engines under 0.7 litres, and its right-hand drive status meant it was imported to the UK market.
