2015 Volkswagen Passat: OFFICIAL

The new 2015 Volkswagen Passat revealed VW previewed the 2015 Passat back in May with a set of design sketches and the promise of a sleeker design, less weight and better economy with more room for passengers – and now it’s here. The 2015 Volkswagen Passat is the eighth generation of a car that VW always hoped would wipe the floor with the Ford Mondeo and steal sales from the BMW 3 Series and Mercedes C-Class, but which has never quite hit the sort of home run the VW Golf has. But VW has tried hard with the 2015 Passat and delivered a car that looks Audi-slick and more upmarket, so perhaps the eight generation Passat will be the Passat to finally dominate the segment?

Peugeot RC hybrid concept

Peugeot is poised to reveal the latest in its ‘RC' range of concept cars at the Paris Motor Show in October. Continuing on from the RC Spade and RC Diamond concept cars unveiled at the 2002 Geneva Motor Show, the as yet unnamed concept also follows on from the 908 RC V12 diesel concept of 2006. Designed by a team led by Peugeot head of design Jérôme Gallix, the four door, four seat sedan is claimed to be an accessible and versatile eco-efficient GT coupé.

Nissan’s Qashqai Named Top Tow Car

THE all-new Nissan Qashqai has proved it has the pulling power to match its looks after it was named as The Overall Winner at the prestigious Tow Car Awards 2014. The British-built model also won the 1,400kg-1,549kg (kerbweight) category. Judges from the Camping and Caravanning Club and influential magazines Practical Caravan and What Car?
