Hyundai Equus customers: Prepare for pampering by dealers--and you get an iPad

Hyundai's upcoming flagship Equus sedan is packed with features to pamper owners and passengers: a rear-seat footrest, rain-repellent window glass, power sun shades, and massage systems built into the driver's seat and rear seat. But Hyundai's dealers will have to do a little pampering of their own if they want to sell the car, which Hyundai showed today at the New York auto show. Who’s Where: Peter Horbury appointed Senior Vice President Design at Geely Group

Peter Horbury, presently Vice President of Design at Volvo Car Corporation, is set to join a growing roster of design directors who have relocated to China – the most recent being Gert Hildebrandt who was appointed Design Director at Chery Quantum Auto Co. (a joint venture between Chery Automobile, China's largest independent car manufacturer, and Israel Corp.) earlier this year. Horbury, who will be taking up a new position as Senior Vice President of Design at Geely Group, will be based in Sanya, in the Hainan Province of China.

ONE of the most respected customer satisfaction surveys is out, and cars made by German-owned manufacturers are the most satisfying – that’s according to a poll of more than 15,000 motorists. German vehicles took seven of the top 10 places in a customer satisfaction table compiled by What Car? and marketing information services company JD Power.
