Audi A8 facelift revealed ahead of Frankfurt Motor Show 2013

Audi is pulling weight out of its A8 limousine and sticking in more power in an effort to stem the expected upsurge from Mercedes-Benz’s all-new S-Class, also being unveiled for the first time at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. The all-wheel drive Audi, which is the top-of-the-range Audi limo, may only change a little visually but delivers big upgrades in its driver assistance systems, as well as tightening its fuel consumption by up to 10%. Germany to tax foreign drivers

GERMANY plans to introduce a car toll that seeks to make money from the millions of foreigners who drive through the country every year, the transport minister said today. Germany has a truck toll but, unlike many European countries, no car toll. Alexander Dobrindt said it wasn't fair that foreign drivers do not contribute to maintaining the roads and that "fairness gap" should be closed.

Halfords rapped by advertising watchdog

HALFORDS has been told to remove "misleading" pricing from its website after overstating savings on certain products. The car and bike accessories retailer listed two car radios in July, claiming savings of £20 on each one. But a complainant noted that the radios had only just been released, and challenged whether the savings claims could therefore be substantiated.
