Materials giant BASF has presented the findings of its annual color trend report, created by a team of designers scouting out global textile and furniture trade shows for information. And while some may think color trends are simply at the whim of designers, BASF's report identifies influences such as socio-political climate, interior design, architecture, technology and pop culture. The production version of the Changan Honor was unveiled at the Guangzhou motor show last month, six months after the concept was announced. The production version has stayed true to the concept car, with the Honor's exterior being similar to the company's most recent range, which has adopted a large front grille and rising side feature lines from Changan's MPV range. It represents the traditional MPV/minivan format, with a relatively flat waistline, generous glasshouse and two-box proportions.
