Wed, 14 Nov 2012The Mercedes Energ-G-Force, which will debut at the Los Angeles auto show, could be the shape of Mercedes SUVs to come--if you like it. “If people really like it and reaction is good then yeah, we might have to think of making it happen in reality,” said designer Huey Lee, who was part of the team that penned the Energ-G-Force at Mercedes' Advanced Design Studio in Carlsbad, Calif. Tue, 01 Oct 2013Gray Design has revealed a new concept car called the Nouvair, inspired by the Art Nouveau design movement. The Nouvair, a retro-looking coupé complete with a long hood and trailing rear end, takes inspiration from the techniques and flowing lines favored by one of the pioneers of the movement, Czech painter and decorative artist Alphonse Mucha. Despite the release of five pictures, Gray Design didn't reveal any technical details, just confirmation of its name and its inspiration.

Brief Three: Cadillac ‘Looking 12 years into the future – while considering global luxury customers, competitors and trends – how would you evolve the Cadillac Art and Science exterior design language based upon your interpretation of the brand along with incorporating unique American equities and luxury values?' You should consider delivering a visually premium aesthetic through restraint and timelessness, but in a way that is dramatically Cadillac and most importantly celebrates the beauty of the car. The final proposal is worth 30 percent of the overall mark and includes a brief summary of the target customer, key competitors and luxury trends, and an image board on at least two of the following: Visual Craftsmanship; Modern Automotive Beauty; Visual Restraint and American Luxury.
