Carfest dates announced for 2014
Tue, 12 Nov 2013CHRIS EVANS has announced his popular Carefest shows will take place again in 2014, with dates confirmed as 1-3 August and 22-24 August. Hosted by the car-loving Radio 2 DJ, Carfest North on 1-3 August will be held at Oulton Park racing circuit in Cheshire. Three weeks later, Carfest South will take place at Laverstoke Park in Hampshire, owned by former Formula One World Champion Jody Scheckter, on 22-24 August.

Featuring a flowing design demarcated by a coupé-like roofline, the body is accented by a distinctive 'blade' feature line that runs from behind the front wheel along the side of the car, emphasizing its taut, rakish lines. Plans for Smart’s three-seat sports car uncovered in patent drawings
Mon, 03 Aug 2009Mercedes-Benz is developing a three-seat sports car for Smart. Depicted here in a series of European patent-application sketches obtained by AutoWeek, the radical new sports car forms part of an extended range of new Smart models planned for introduction by the middle of the next decade, including a more conventional four-seater to be produced in cooperation with Renault. Mercedes-Benz is reacting to increased competition from Toyota in the form of the iQ and the impending arrival of similar urban-based offerings from premium-brand rivals Audi and BMW.
